London Grove Township is excited to announce an opening for a Water & Sewer Operator position! We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our community. If you have the necessary skills and certifications, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Need:

  • Required: PA DEP Class C/E or higher sewer operator’s license.
  • All applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old and have a clean driving record.
  • Preferred:
  • Sewer license subclasses 3 and 4
  • PA DEP Class E or higher Water License
  • Class 8 PA Pesticide License
  • CDL driver’s license
  • Other: Consideration for reciprocity-eligible applicants with equivalent licenses from other states.

What You’ll Do:
As a Water & Sewer Operator, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the water and sewer systems of London Grove Township. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing a variety of tasks such as manual labor, semi-skilled trade work, and equipment operation.
  • Working in diverse conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and varying weather.

What You Should Be Able to Do:

  • Lift up to 70 pounds & work at heights, in confined spaces
  • Work safely in challenging environments and under different weather conditions.
  • Maintain a clean criminal and driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in municipal work, construction, or equipment operation is a plus, but not required.
