Lancaster Area Sewer Authority is currently seeking an individual for the position of:
MECHANIC IN TRAINING/ MECHANIC 1

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist mechanics with performing maintenance and repair work; conduct inspections; update daily, weekly, and monthly logs
  • Perform routine checks at pump stations to detect mechanical, electrical, or system problems; check electrical switches, generator batteries, fluid levels, water system; check for clogs, check alarms
  • Perform routine check and maintenance for all LASA vehicles, mower’s and other motorized equipment.
  • Assist with performing work and maintenance on homeowner’s grinder pump systems that are owned/operated by the Authority

Job Type: Full-time – 1st shift 6:30 am – 3:00 pm M-F – on-call rotation
