The Borough of Hollidaysburg is accepting resumes for the position of Director of the Public Works Department. The position includes the supervision and administration of the Borough (water) Authority. Duties also include the administration of other Borough related infrastructure and services, such as parks, recycling, winter maintenance, road maintenance and storm sewer system maintenance. Experience with complex systems and machinery, water operations, compliance and annual reports, grant writing and management, staff management, community outreach and long-range planning is required. The Director represents the Borough during work with various outside agencies such as the PADEP, PennDOT, PA DCNR, and other municipalities.
