Fixed Film Treatment (AWBT)

The purpose of this course is to familiarize operators with the operation of fixed film processes. Topics covered include trickling filters, rotating biological contactors, bio-wheels, integrated film-activated sludge, and denitrification filters. Mathematical calculations for process control and troubleshooting are reviewed.
