Whether treating drinking water or wastewater, chemical dosing is a vital part of daily operations and operators must be able to calculate the correct dosage to ensure public health, how long the chemical on hand will last, and how much chemical to order to ensure that there is enough in stock but not so much that it starts to deteriorate before it is all used.
