This course will familiarize operators with sludge dewatering techniques and the options for disposal of biosolids. Topics covered include belt filter presses, drying beds, aerobic and anaerobic digesters, and land application of biosolids as well as the requirements for Class A and Class B biosolids. This course will is suitable as an introductory course to new operators as well as a refresher for more experienced operators.
