Basic Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls and SCADA for Operators: Many operators take unsafe chances because they have no basic knowledge of electricity. This course will teach operators the basics of how to work safely with electricity and how understanding your electrical setup ties together with all your system controls. In addition, the course will cover the basics of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, process controls, and SCADA systems.

NFPA 70E and You; Electrical Safety in the Workplace: A majority of water and wastewater operators engage in electrical work daily and electrical safety must be a top priority to ensure everyone stays safe. Participants will learn to identify common electrical hazards in treatment plants, create an electrically safe working condition, and determine the proper arc flash PPE.
