Wastewater Assistant Shift Operator

The Swatara Township Authority is presently accepting applications for the following position:

ASSISTANT SHIFT OPERATOR

Job duties include assisting the Shift Operator with the daily operation of the wastewater treatment facilities; checking plant operation; cleaning plant building, tanks, and vehicles; maintaining plant grounds; making minor process changes; documenting plant operations; other duties as required.

All applicants must have a valid PA Driver’s License. No experience necessary, but previous experience is a plus.

Must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

PAY AND BENEFITS FOR ALL THREE ABOVE POSITIONS

Starting salary is based upon relevant experience, training, and qualifications, and may be increased if the applicant has specialized education and/or certifications.
